Regular: Dues Amount – $90.00
Open to anyone who is
- Certified by the Florida Department of Education as a school psychologist or
- Licensed by the State of Florida or
- A Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) or
- A Past President of FASP after the three-year dues exemption following their presidency year or
- Primarily engaged in the training of school psychologist or
- A certified or licensed school psychologist who does not live or work in the state of Florida (reduced rate of $70.00)
Early Career Member: Dues Amount $45.00
Those eligible for an Early Career membership are those who have
- Graduated from a School Psychology program and held Student membership the previous year.
- Early Career members would be eligible for half the regular dues and the status would be valid for the first or second year of practice.
Student: Dues Amount – $25.00 Open to anyone who is
- Actively engaged half-time or more (minimum six semester hours) in a formal program leading to an advanced degree in school psychology and not currently employed as a school psychologist or
- Completing an internship in school psychology
Retired: Dues Amount – $35.00 Open to anyone who is

- Retired Florida Member – Those eligible for retired Florida membership have held regular FASP membership for at least five years across the past decade and who retire from full-time remunerative professional activity (but may be consulting or be involved in other paid professional activity less than 15 hours a week).
- Retired Out-of-State Member – Those eligible for retired out-of-state membership are those holding regular membership for at least five years across the past decade in their previous state school psychology association who retire from full-time remunerative professional activity but may be consulting or involved in other paid professional activity less than 15 hours a week. Certification of out-of-state membership is required. This certification shall be completed by the individual’s State Association’s Chairperson.
Associate: Dues Amount – $90.00
- This is a non-voting membership available to persons who are not eligible for any other membership category but express support and interest in the field. Does not live or work in the state of Florida (reduced rate of $75.00)
